Not that summer is here, it's time to make some plans to get out and walk, hike, bike, swim, golf or whatever it is that you love to do. Try something new this year. This was a hike up Mt. Shasta with my boys. It was a challenge but when we got back to Roseville, all the complaining was replaced with good memories of doing something we had never done before.
If you have challenges and can only do limited activities, don't miss out. Walking is very helpful, even if is just around the block. You can build up you speed and if you are aging, your balance will improve, you will lose a few pounds and you might even meet some of your neighbors.
